An email conversation between an Irish academic and Perth artist on opposite sides of the globe, and the resulting two, 2m high porcelain and paper sculptural objects, made for the 2014 Dublin Biennial international art exhibition.

Document how research into the parallels between 4,000 year old clay cuneiform tablets and modern smart phones, lead to the creation of two, two metre high faces made from ceramic paper clay phones. These were selected by curator Emma Mahanay, on behalf of the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery (UWA), for their 2014 Here&Now14 exhibition, and by Sculpture by the Sea for their 2015 Cottesloe Beach exhibition. The Arts Editor of The West Australian daily newspaper listed the work in the top ten works, and the Director of the WA State Gallery picked it as one of the 5 best works.
