Copies of journal articles, information, images and video, on the leading experts, techniques, discussions, and listed manufacturers and suppliers of paper clay for pottery and sculpture. Started in July 2000 (still regularly updated), this website provides over 90 webpages of expert information on making and using paper clay, Prior to most articles, textbooks and Youtube tutorials, it provided free information to counter myths associated with the initial resistance to the paper clay innovation. It contains: complete journal articles, images and links to key paper clay pioneers and experts, instructional videos, international list of manufacturers and retail outlets, and lists major workshops, conferences symposiums. Added to this was images of my ceramic paper clay and paper artwork, a record of my creative journey so far, plus studios and groups I am in. A huge “THANK YOU” to the other experts who generously shared their discoveries and techniques and the many thousands who came to or participated in events we led or co-led. This benefited us all, our audiences and students, and becomes a gift to the next generation of potters and ceramic artists. I hope it informs you, inspires you and provides a possible map for your own creative journey. Cheers Graham Hay All updated monthly since March 2001. Last update: 24 March 2022
