March 2021 News
Be more than a Social Media Liker.
Almost every day over the last twenty years the Nyoongar Patrol (Nyoongar Outreach Service) drive past our studio, helping the at risk young, homeless and generally keeping Aboriginal people safe and out of the criminal system. It was set up after the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody (1987–1991).
I urge you to simply make a small donation to their fundraising.
After three years of touring US Art Museums my work in the Particle & Wave: Paper Clay exhibition curated by Peter Held, is now at The Fuller Craft Museum, in Brockton, MA, USA, will finally close on May 30.
Pottery, sculpture and paper clay workshops
Over the last month I've also provided single and multiple workshops, a paper clay workshop for the 60 year old Perth Studio Potters (my third there in 20 years), introduction to pottery workshop for Fiona and Jason's Shape of u group, plus Ellenbrook Arts Centre and the new migrant Sister Project social enterprise.
In addition to on demand pottery and sculpture paper clay workshops, I also provide popular hands on fun information packed one day workshops within the studio. It's a small, relaxed and creative day, information packed but predominately hands on fun. The next will be 16 May 2021.*. Link to online enrol here.

After the usual Summer break and then the 5 day Lockdown my small studio based classes (est. 1998) have resumed again. Immediate gift vouchers: 1 lesson, 2 lesson or immediate enrol here.

* After over a year of blocked borders and only 1 case of community transmission of the COVID 19 virus (all other known cases detected in inbound travellers) the state of Western Australia has begun relaxing its borders in February 2021. If circumstances change the studio workshop and classes will be postponed and all student enrolments and credits credits will be preserved.
