@ 6 May 2022Upcoming Projects
I have just spent the last week scripting and filming an hour long information packed introduction to making and creating with paper clay. This and a 3/4 hour live discussion will be online via the 26-30 May Ceramic Congress. Inspirational five days of clay demonstrations, 72+ hours of content, 40+ Speakers. Rewatch options available. For the July Australian Ceramics Triennale in Alice I will be demonstrating over two mornings, and giving a two day workshop on the weekend before. Studio Classes (since 1998) Small classes with customised expert instruction and advise within our studio. After the first lesson reschedule to suit yourself. Huge fun for both students and myself. Enrol / gift voucher. Projects Currently working in the studio on a Sydney commission and collecting archival material on the Thermal Shock group of artists for the Western Australia State Library. This a group I created and exhibited with for a dozen years. Possibly a good example for arts students to follow in order to survive after leaving art school. Real, not like BLM The Nyoongar Patrol (Nyoongar Outreach Service) physically keeps the homeless, young and old out of the criminal system. While it doesn't solve the causes, they reduce racial violence, incarceration and homelessness. So make a real difference and donation here. Don't just make or listen to public acknowledgments. Other News An exciting change in the studio may be coming. Come back for breaking news. Other new projects will be documented here. Did you miss our 2021 studio news?
