Perth Studio Paper Clay Master class
Just for you and to keep it fresh for me, I’m mixing it up. Every three or so months I run a one day introduction to paper clay workshop, but am now offering the first one day master class especially for people already using paper clay or very experienced with conventional clay. Of course I completely forgot to check the listing link or promote it until someone emailed me! Link to this and enrolment for both is here.
The Robertson Park Artists Studio will hold their seventh studio exhibition in November 2019. A large nearby gallery is booked for this event which celebrates our 20th year. I will be exhibiting new work. Four years since the last, so don’t miss it! Receive a personal exhibition invite and to preview the artwork online, add your email here.

TV 9 Today Perth broadcasting live from studio
Those who missed the TV Channel 9 Today Perth live broadcast from the studio on 22 July: the two lighthearted 2.5 minute videos can be watched here...
Studio Open Day
On Sunday 18 August there was a steady flow of visitors to the studio, around 90-100 people including other professional and recreational artists, curators, art writers and collectors. There was lively conversations, light refreshments, sales and the traditional private artists and partner party. Don’t want to miss the next one? join our email list at www.robparkart.info
Wired into paper clay
Some of you missed my article in the latest US The Studio Potter journal on wire in paper clay. For just $5/month you can access it and all Studio Potter content, including all their archive articles, issues, and audio interviews back to 1972 here... A free copy of all my own articles is archived on my website.
Craving additional challenges after the 2017 Venice Biennale (5 min video of my work), I have started a practice led PhD (I both make new work and write about it, within an overall research project) at Curtin University.
My addictive studio based classes continue. Gaps for new students will disappear as my regular students return from warmer climates. Grab a spot anytime here. None left? Look for and click on the faint grey eye icon to get an email alert for the next vacancy.
